GOALS About 5% of the population actually commit their definition of success, goals and business plans to writing! It means that 95% of the people you meet will never compete with you for success! Most millenials don''t know they are allowed to try. They lack any "permission" to try and succeed. The Soviet state, killed off its successful 5% and assured its own slow death and 75 years of poverty for its people, who were taught to believe success is a crime! THINK ABOUT IT! Why don’t people WRITE down their goals? 1) No one ever convinced them of the need to write them down. They’ve been told “yes”, convinced “no”. 2) No one ever showed them how to set effective, success supportive goals. 3) They are afraid they will not achieve their goals so why plan for their achievement in the firs...

FREE! I've been trying to promote my resurrected newsletter for a couple of years now. I used to publish a home business newletter from 1976 to 1996. I have not been successful in promoting it because there are a lot of good home biz newsletters out there and I even promote them in my newletter. My wife and I just watched a true story about how God healed a 10 year old girl that was dying. It was a miracle. The movie gave me an idea. I just turned 88 years old in October and I thought "I am not going to get rich promoting 5 products I created at my age." So I decided to start my promotion by giving my newsletter away for FREE! I would rather help someone bring an idea to fruition and help them be successful. Email me and ask for the FREE subscription at daveroman24@gmail.com You can help by posting to this blog and talk about people who have successful home businesses. Whta kind of business is it? Do they need help? If I can't help, maybe other bloggers can. Wha...

1976 REPUBLICAN CONVENTION In 1976 the Republicans held their convention in Kansas City in the Kemp Arena. A friend of mine obtained two passes from an Akron TV station that didn't have reporters covering the conventionm so my friend Dave Seffens and I went to the convention as TV reporters. In fact 6 of use went to the Convention. Dave Seffens had a cousin who had an apartment in Kansas City and he would be on vacation that week. He allowed all six of us to stay in his apartment that week. This is NOT a polical story, but it is about the humor behind the scenes at the convention. The rules were that reporters could be on the convention floor for 15 minutes at a time and then had to relinquish his time on the floor to another reporter. One time when I was on the floor interviewing a delegate from Mississippi, Dan Rather (the famous newscaster) was interviewing another delegate right behind me (back to back). My wife called me and asked "who was that guy behind you?" That ...

HOW DO I START A BUSINESS FROM HOME? There are a lot of blogs and websites on the internet. Many of them are very good. I subscribe to 3 or 4 of the best ones I've seen. I used to publish my own Mail Order newsletter from 1976 to 1996. Today there are many really good ones and I'll tell you who I think is great in my an issue of my own online newsletter. The difference with my newsletter is that I'll be glad to consult with you by E-mail or even by phone. I always start out by asking you about your self. Tell me about your education, job experience and even your hobbies! I will try to fit you to a particular business the fits your skills. If you subscribe to my newsletter ($39 a year for 6+ issues) You will continuously find ideas that might interest you. (I research the Internet for hours and might find a good idea for you!) I teach Computer Technology at a local college (part time) and research the internet almost daily. As a subscriber I will forward any ideas that...

Liquidate Your Way To A Fortune Working From Home Jim Straw was an old friend of mine who has since past. I used to talk with him on the phone for many days a month. How do you liquidate your way to a fortune? Jim did it and he told how in his great newsletters. The newsletter was called “World Wide Business Exchange” and was usually 8 pages long. He also wrote a report/booklet about how he did it and it was called “MAKE A FORTUNE – Just Snooping Around” which was 33 pages long, I have emailed his family (wife & son) to get permission to print it and have not yet received any replies. What is the secret? I’ll summarize it. Jim says “finders fees” can make you wealthy. You match people’s wants to people who has an abundance of what they can sell. Sounds EASY, doesn’t it. It? A finder earns their fee by searching through many unqualified leads, all over the world, and filters out the phonies, false purveyors of information and many dead ends. Eventually they will find ...
